When you register online for an e-book and/or a gift or fill in the contact form, you will be asked to enter your data. The following data are required:

At the beginning of your stay in our B&B, we will also ask you for an identity card or a passport for the registration in ROSS 1000 (national tourist statistics) and to communicate your presence to the Questura (national police headquarters). This is done automatically everywhere in Italy.

Bed & Breakfast Carpe Diem processes your personal data for:

Newsletters

We use your first name and your email address in order to send you our newsletter with tips and information about Bed & Breakfast Carpe Diem, Lake Garda and surroundings.

Contact form

When you fill in the contact form, we need your name and email address in order to answer your requests.

Reservations

At the booking you provide your name, your telephone number and your email address. We use this information to register you on our guest list, to process your booking, to handle payments and to prepare a payment receipt.

Guest notification to the authorities and registration in ROSS 1000

We ask you for your identity card or passport for the registration in ROSS 1000 (national tourism statistics) and to notify your presence to the Questura (police headquarter). The following details will be provided: name and surname, sex, date of birth, place of birth, nationality, ID card or passport number, country of residence, place of issue of the document, date of arrival and departure. This is requested throughout Italy.

Accounting

We need your first and last name to issue a payment receipt. This information is also sent to our accountant for the annual tax return and to the tax office.

Children

Data of children are only saved when permission is given by parents or caregivers. Without that permission we never save children’s data.

By providing this data, you give us the permission to use this data for the purposes stated above.

The Stay Agreement

The use of your data is necessary for the agreement we have with you during your stay a tour B&B.

Legal obligation

The use of your data is necessary for the fulfilment of legal obligations for tax matters.

Permission

We ask for your permission to send you our newsletter. This authorisation can be revoked at any time.

We also ask for your permission to process the personal data of children.

Retention period

Bed & Breakfast Carpe Diem does not keep your personal data any longer than necessary after the completion of what is required by law.

When you are no longer interested in our newsletter you can unsubscribe. You will find information on how to do this at the end of each newsletter. We will put your name on an unsubscribe list and the newsletter will no longer be sent to you by email.
