Relax: Water Parks, Beaches, Thermal Spas and Nature Parks
“Dolce far niente” or blissful idleness, such as relaxing in a water park, on a beach, in the thermal baths and even in the nature parks near Lake Garda: just choose your favourite place!
Near Lake Garda there are many water parks. They offer you the possibility to cool off and they are also the perfect option for families. Adults can watch their children having fun in the sun or splash around with them in the pools or on the slides.
These water parks are perfectly maintained, equipped with all comforts and they often have an animation team. They are usually open from the beginning of June to the beginning of September.
Water park La Quiete
La Quiete Water Park is only 4 km from our B&B and all our guests get super discounts. It stretches over 120,000 m² in the beautiful landscape of the Garda Hills. There are three large swimming pools and a pirate ship and slides for children (up to 12 years). While relaxing you can also play mini-golf, beach volleyball, basketball and mini-football or have fun in the adventure park. There are also several snack bars and a restaurant.
Water Park Cavour
Just a few minutes from the village of Borghetto, Water park Cavour is set amidst the hills. In this 150,000 m² green oasis you will find many slides, a lagoon and a sandy beach with palm trees. You can relax on the lawns with parasols and sunbeds. Also in this water park you can alternate between relaxing and sport. There are a few fields for beach-volley and mini-football. It is ideal for a day trip as there are also several places to eat.
Do you like adrenaline rushes? If so, this water park in Lazise is a must do. You will find the spectacular slides “Kamika” and the “Supersplash” for real dare devils. Of course you can also relax and sunbathe in the lagoon and on the “Lazy River. Caneva Aquapark is suitable for families with older children as certain attractions are only accessible from a certain age (over 12 years). It can be perfectly combined with the Movieland amusement park next door.
Along the 159 km coastline of Lake Garda you will find: hidden coves, bays, overhanging cliffs and beaches. Here you can swim in the blue water and sunbathe. All villages on Lake Garda have at least one beach, most of them with pebbles and occasionally also some stone piers. The public beaches are free, the private ones are equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and sometimes even pedalos.

Jamaica Beach, Sirmione
The colours of the water on this beach are breathtaking and tropical: from sea-green to crystal blue and sky-blue. Hence the name, Jamaica Beach! It is so beautiful that the beach was the setting for a scene in the Oscar-winning film ‘Call Me By Your Name’ in 2017. You can reach the beach across the lake by boat from another town or go by foot via the path near the Grottoes of Catullus that leads down to the Jamaica bar.
La Baia del Vento, San Felice del Benaco
This beautiful beach is located on the west coast in a small bay in front of Isola del Garda, the largest island of Lake Garda. The view is wonderful: on a clear day you can even see Monte Baldo and Punta San Vigilio on the east coast. All comforts are provided on this wide pebble beach and the water is shallow. You can hire parasols, sunbeds, pedalos and kayaks and eat something at the bar or at the restaurant, which offers delicious local specialities.
La Romantica, Manerba del Garda
The Manerba del Garda coastline is 11 km long and has eight beaches. La Romantica is one of the most beautiful beaches with an extraordinary view on the Rocca di Manerba. That is why it is called “La Romantica”. It is also the largest beach with all kinds of services. You can also do water sports here. An ideal beach for families with children looking for fun and entertainment. Moreover it is always sunny on La Romantica beach because the sun sets late.
“Divine water”, pleasantly warm, bubbling up from below, is a true gift of nature. Around Lake Garda you will find some lovely wellness oasis where you can relax all year round.

Terme di Sirmione
The Terme di Sirmione is one of the oldest hot springs in Italy. The hot sulphurous water comes out of the Boiola spring three hundred metres from the shore of the peninsula. There are two thermal centres for medical treatments and Aquaria Thermal SPA. This modern SPA offers everything you need for a day of wellness. Do not miss “The Water Journey”, a journey through the numerous relaxation areas. In the evening you can watch the sunset over Lake Garda.
Parco termale Villa dei Cedri
The Thermal Park Villa dei Cedri is located in Colà di Lazise five kilometres from the centre of Lazise. This thermal spring is located in a special place in the middle of a large park with cypresses, conifers and yew trees near the beautiful Villa dei Cedri. This unique natural spa has two small lakes with odourless hot water. In between bathing you can unwind on a lounger or walk in the park. It is the ideal place to relax surrounded by nature and recharge your batteries!
Aquardens – Le Terme di Verona
About ten kilometres from Lazise in the hills of Valpolicella you can find an exclusive wellness oasis. The natural mineral water that fills the baths at Aquardens has therapeutic qualities. You can immerse yourself in over 5000 square metres of warm spring water in various indoor and outdoor pools, lagoons, grottos, waterfalls and whirlpools. And of course you can also pamper yourself with one of the many massages and facial and body treatments.
Nature parks and gardens
The nice and mild climate of Lake Garda ensures lush vegetation in the natural parks and reserves. Near the lake there are also well-kept parks and gardens. Some parks have even been awarded the title of “Il Parco più bello d’Italia” or the most beautiful park in Italy.
Parco giardino Sigurtà
The Parco Giardino Sigurtà is located in Valeggio sul Mincio eight kilometres south of Peschiera del Garda. It is located in a large expanse: the entire garden is about seven kilometres long, with a surface area of 60 hectares, with a variety of flowers, shrubs, trees and plants but also ponds, lakes and water gardens. There is even a labyrinth and an didactic farm. You can take an audio tour by train or golf cart or explore the park by bike.
Giardino Botanico Heller
In Gardone Riviera there is an ecological oasis, unique to its kind. In an area of ten thousand square metres the Giardino Botanico Heller presents an extraordinary collection of plant species from all over the world: edelweiss, orchids, very tall ferns, tall pomegranate trees, primroses from Tibet, streams and waterfalls, ponds with koi carp and trout, and flying dragonflies. All this is harmoniously enriched by sculptures by contemporary artists.
Parco del Mincio
The Parco Regionale del Mincio is a protected nature reserve located in the province of Mantua in Lombardy. It stretches along the valley of the river Mincio from Lake Garda to its confluence with the river Po. It is home to many special animal species, including many birds, as well as various flowers and plants. A special period is the flowering of lotus flowers that can be seen on a boat trip from Grazie di Curtatone near Mantua from July to the beginning of September.
